Pek Gwa, Pi Gua, Pakua, Baat Gwa, I've heard these terms mixed up for years. By native Chinese speakers, as well as westerners. Still, it's more likely to mistake Pek Gwa (劈挂) for Pakua (八卦) than the other way around. Pakua/ Baat Gwa (八卦) is a much more common term.

Wing Lam's version is slightly different.

Laap Chong/ "established" (立创) could be used in the sense of either "created", or "first included within the school curriculum". So, barring any claim to specific authorship, I would recommend providing leeway as to just how the concept of "established/ created/ included" has been interpreted.
