I sorta dont understand the analagy of the "GUN". Is it to have the ability to use the earth and legs to fire off your technique? Is it the ability to move quiclky enough to get your technique off?
Explain a bit?
And about the answering my own question... I do teach basic Lin Gung daily exercises but I try to incorporate [EXAMPLE:] Catching the Jar exercises or Fingertip pushups or Rope climbing and people start complaining and start not showing for class or I have them learn basic Catching the Jar (Tiger Claw strengthening) and after years and years of letting people see the basics... no one ever asks to move to the next level! Another problem is I tell people that if they want to get to the next level of that certain gung they need to start practicing on their own as many times per week as they can... and it ends up they only do it during class (2-3 times per week).
arrrgh.
