Don't get your bowels in an uproar...everyone in Futshan and HK was "unbeatable".
"Unbeatable" meant they never had to fight or had a reason to fight.

Oh I hope my post was not misunderstood.
I'm not at all on the defensive regarding the portrayal and match up. I am, in fact, quite excited about it actually... but then again I enjoy most non-wire fu martial arts movies.
I've heard the stories about the rivalry between the Wing Chun clan and the Choy Lay/Lee/Li Fut clan (not sure which one people prefer since apparently 'Kyun' is the form in vogue on this board). The Lacey's are in the Bay Area after all and I used to frequent San Francisco Chinatown. A friend of mine actually leads the Hung Sing Lion Dance group.
My previous post was simply a laying out of possibilities and wondering what people would prefer to see on screen. I like the Rocky movies with Stallone, but it can't be argued that the pace and scheme of the fights were too predictable and somewhat boring. The first Ip Man movie essentially showed him as being invincible with nary a scratch save the last bought where he was hit maybe.... 4 times... and of course the bullet. I'm simply curious at how they would portray the Hung Gar system, as well as the character meant to represent Hung Gar on the screen.

onassis i tried to be nice and meet with you at harkness for tai chi world day because i remember going there with cheng yee school and i know you will be there. tommorow was supposed to be a day off with the family and willing to meet with you and do whatever you want, did i not say that?
