Yap Moon Kuen and Kap Kuen 1. and 2. form of Hung Kuen?

I see in the internet that Yap Moon Kuen and Kap Kuen are the first and second form of Hung Kuen. But I can't find much more about it, so I wonder if it's in all schools or only schools of Chiu Chi Ling.
Any info on these forms?

Most likely those forms are only under Chiu Chi Ling.. unless they come from another style. I have never heard of them.

Also, to be clear to those who watch the video and get info from the internet, Chiu Chi Ling is not the head of Hung Ga as is said in the video and other lineages do not use any kind of dan system (ranking borrowed from Japanese/Korean arts).

I give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that what he meant to say was head of his own lineage.

I'm fairly certain that's what Master Chiu Chi Ling meant as, unless I am mistaken, he has good links with the Mok Gwai Lan lineage as well as the Lam Family lineage.

as far as i know, Martin Sewer sifu has learned these 2 sets from Wu Meiling (Ng Meiling in Cantonese); her father Ng Siuchyun was a Hung Kyun student of Lam Saiwing. she has forgotten the traditional sets taught by her father, so she has created these 2 short naam kyun sets using the techniques she had remembered. i met Wu Meiling back in 1991, in 2008 i have met cca. 70 years Wong sifu, a student of her father, in Canton.

these forms are not common in the CCL-Leneage but at the school of Sewer Sifu.
I did not know the origin of them, though, so it is interessting what PM says.

well, various sources:

- i have heard it from a student of Sewer sifu

- i have somewhere on the tape a performance of Wu Meiling's team where they show yap mun kyun

- i also watched a demo of Wu Meiling in Wong sifu's house (as i said, Wong sifu is a student of Wu Meiling's father) where they performed one of the sets

- i an old article i have Frank Yee sifu speaks about meeting Wu Meiling, and she tells her story and story of her father a bit

btw. i do not have idea what "zum kap kuen" means. kap means probably grade, degree, level, kyun, well, clear, but "zum"? is it cho, "basic, beginner's?
