I remember the first time I saw Yui perform. I was judging at a FJP Tournament in the Chinese Center on Mott St. Yui banged out his form, and I thought,"Where've they been hiding HIM?"
I haven't seen anyone match his structure, power and expression of the form.

Yui, There are difference in our set, but gung fu is gung fu and it's all good.

Hey Rik,

I remember that tournament; it was 1996 and it was the first time I ever competed. I had signed up for the Intermediate Division because I was on the cusp of Intermediate and Advance levels (I was away for 4-months not training), but I figured this was my first time competing, I'd better not compete against the Advanced people. I was pissed when I found out they threw me in the Advanced Division. I guess it showed

Hey Jerry, I mentioned our forms as slightly different but definitely with Tang Fong flavor to show our closeness to each other. I hope it wasn't taken any other way my brother.
