ok, now the comment: we know that Tit kiu Saam's teacher was a monk Gokyan. my question is - who was his teacher? the text indicates that Gokyan was a student of Hung Heigun.
another known text on tit sin kyun says, that the art of "irone thread set" comes from Ng Mui si taai
does anybody know more?

you believe the text's that come out of china to be true? they say in the Wong fei hung museum that the pic of Wong fei hung is real but we all know its his son.They just wanna make money from it soon the museum will be like Shaolin temple.
Its just one example that they just go along with the stories themselves and not the facts.

Leung Kwan "Tit Kiu Sam" (1815 -1888)
Leung Kwan was born into a wealthy family in the Nam Hai, Kwantung province. His father paid for him to study martial arts under several famous masters. One of his teachers was the influential Kwok Yan Si who taught the "Fuk Fu Kuen", the (old) "Fu Hoc Seung ying Kuen", and a special method of training the arms and stances, known as "Diamond Body Technique". From this training Leung Kwan developed incredibly strong arms and legs that eaned him the nickname of "Tit Kiu Sam". Tit Kiu Sam's first student was a school teacher called Lee Chung. Tit Kiu Sam's second student was Coi Chan and the thrid was Ng Hei Kwoon. Tit Kui Sam's other students were Lam Fook Shing, Ngau Chu, Si Yu Lueng, Blackfaced Sing and Six-Fingered Tiem.

old fu hoc

Just to clarify... there is no old fu hoc within our lineage. the fu hoc we do is the same as within other lineages, minus typical family differences. We do have an old five animal (gau ng jing) and an old ten animal (gau sap jing). these two are different than the respective hung ga sets.
