This weekend finally saw an opportunity for me to visit Franky. We have been in contact over the Internet for a long time, on a daily basis so a visit was long overdue.
It is always a bit of a waiting game if in 'real life' you click as good as over a medium like the Internet. But I can't say anything else then from the first moment we got along very well, and that continued for the rest of the weekend.
After just arriving from the Philippines (as we all know) things are a bit hectic with many things to sort out still, yet Frank was able to get a class together already on Saturday which I joined as well. The class went really smooth. One of the students Frank taught before he moved from Europe who instantly came back after he learned that Frank returned to Hannover to teach Hung Kuen.
Although a bit of a introduction class I'm pretty sure the students would have problems with getting up the next morning, hehe. But what else would you have expected?
There's a really great Weng Chun school where there are some plans to turn it into a nam suilam school (together with a CLF school). Frank is teaching 3 classes a week here right now. Some photo's for your viewing pleasure:
I have plans to return in October again and enjoy Frank's hospitality more, and of course train more together.
Thanks for a great weekend Franky!
