all the systems are full of 12: 12 year cycle of the Jupiter, 12 zodiac signs, 12 months, 12 houses; 12 earthly branches, 12 "hours" (double hours), 12 regular meridians etc.
well, we have 12 bridges, gong yau bok jik fan ding chyun tai lau wan jai ding. has anybody sen or came upon a theory connecting these any of these twelves? some time ago i had seen a theory connecting 8 trigrams and 12 bridges (gong, yau and jai ding forming a frame for the rest
, but unfortunatelly i did not understood much of it that time, which i regret now.
