Fundamental.
I consider my students who learned several years for 2 times per week still beginners. Maybe after 5 years if they kind of get the hang of it, then I consider them intermediate - but not all of them, for some it will always a nice hobby, nothing more - if you get what I mean. (PM's remark of first 3 years a visitor, I really like

).
In my native language fundamental is not common with sets (more only for buildings): beginner or basic would be normal, and it would still mean you first have to build the fundaments and then maintain them - else it will get rotten.
For whom it was ment.
Well, you see I wrote I still need my sifu. And I feel intermediate, sometimes beginner as I still feel I can learn a lot from my sifu - and that's after 9 years under Lam Chun Fai. If I wouldn't still follow my sifu, my kungfu would possibly still turn out crappy.
So for whom it was ment - for 98 % of the visitors here on the board.
So if anybody thinks this post was just for him/her, I have to dissapoint them.
