I have started learning GGFFK, but sadly...my sifu is in FL and I am in NC now and will be staying here. I am in the tang fong lineage under sifu Su Laing. Man, its AWESOME!!! I am at the part where you slap your forearm into your palm, and then shoot out your left hand as a palm strike and your right hand as an upper gate block. She told me the name of this technique but I have forgotten it. Hopefully I will be able to make a trip down there to Orlando later and continue where I left off. If this doesn't make sense I have learned up till 1:57 in this video of Grandmaster Frank Yee performing it.

GGFFK is brilliant. Its my favourite set. Take a close look how its divided up in sections, and how those sections are different from the others. Each section is trying to teach you something specific.

IMO it works best if you make the discoveries yourself. It will come naturally if you practice the set hundreds, no, thousands of times.

Asmo is right. The more you play it the more certain things become clear. I like doing individual sections. But there is nothing like doing the set in it's entirety.
Learning how to breath properly in the beginning is difficult without a Sifu telling you and showing you the small important details.
The breath work is an important part of the set and I have noticed different results now than perhaps earlier when I was first learning the sequence.
