Thank you all for your welcome msgs.
I'm 61 getting to 62. So in my teenage, it was the peak years in Hongkong
the Kung-Fu tide. Hongkong at that siecle, citizen were hard in living.
Sifus could not afford to have a proper gym (kwoon), and lots of sifu taught in the public, like botanic garden or open dead ends.
Very hard time- the class could not be more than 4-5,
as it would be criminal offensive (same as now).
Sifu could collect very little money as few and poor students trained.
Even if we wanted for study, it was not easy as to the contarary too.
When I was 6-7, I could only watch from far beyond around 20 feet away from the group.
I encountered a great Hung Kuen master teaching as I lived same area as sifu's kwoon located and I frequently went to another Hung Kuen master's kwoon at WanChai, watching at the doorway**,
listening to the drum practising too, not knowing who was teaching.
A few glances were very much contented to me.
So when Frank sent me pics about the legendaries of LJ,
I do recall similar things** I've done in my teenage.
