Ten animals set

Hello,

I would like to ask if anybody knows anything about "Ten animals set" of Hung Ga. I have seen common "five animals and five elements" couple of times, but I have heard that some branches train Ten animals set. Any information, links, videos?

5 animals & 5 elements is also often called the 10 styles form (sap ying kuen). There is no 10 animals set in Wong Fei Hung Hung Gar.

i checked the Chinese articles on the web - some speak about Hung kyun sap ying kyun, Fukgin Siulam sap ying kyun or Gwongdung sap ying kyun, some speak about "black tiger sap ying kyun" (hak fu tit sin kyun) - i hope some "black tiger system" player will soon join the forum to verify this

Yes, there are some Hung Kuen lines that have this set, as well as Hak Fu Mun. Hung Fut also has the ten animal set. The animals we have, which, are the same as Hung Fut's are dragon, snake, crane, tiger, leopard, monkey, lion, horse, elephant, and eagle. Eagle is played as the wing not the claw like Ying Jow Pai (eagle claw).

I know a line of Hung Kuen which carries this ten animal set as well, they are a well known line of Hung Kuen, but I don't think anyone outside of the line knows they carry this set. It is held in high regard and secret within this line. The only reason I know is because the research someone from this line and I have done to find the links between Hak Fu Mun and Hung Kuen. I'll try to talk my friend into joining this discussion, but I doubt he will because he hates forums.
