Although the monks aid in fighting the pirates was mentioned, a southern shaolin have been made no mention of in "Ming-Period Evidence of Shaolin Martial Practice". Is it mentioned in the book PM? Ordered it anyway, I'm just wondering

Prof. Meir Shahar is currently engaged in a new research project about the history and lore of the Southern Shaolin Temple in Fujian.

This should be a most interesting read for all of us.
