One of the things that struck me about this sequence when I was working on it recently was the basic ways force was being generated. For example when you shift from the left bo to the right bo you go through a mid-point where you load up the rear (left) leg—then drive off the rear foot, kind of arcing down and forward. I think of this as vertical strength. Then you turn to do the single claw and the juice for that comes from spinning your hips and torso and yanking the dude across your centerline—all of this being done in a horizontal spinning cylinder type of force. (see the diagram below---okay, okay, art was not my major!)
