"The point has been made that the intensity of training for a MMA match is much higher than that of a master"
Bullshit. These are not MASTERS. What are you considering a MASTER? I think by sheer definition, to become a Master, one would train with intensity. Otherwise, how did they come to be MASTERS? There are many practitioners, teachers, etc. but very few masters. I have seen and felt people who I think of as masters, and their skill is extraordiary, mind-boggling, and very, very scary. But I can count them on one hand. I have met hundreds of practitioners, and teachers, however.
The Masters put in the time, effort, and dedication, and hard work. Why do you think they call it Gung-Fu?
hmmmm, so what is, "A beginning Gung-Fu practitioner?"
