Earth Bending, thats "The Last Avatar"... got kids can ya tell lol? Anyways, Earth Bending (they call the magic/kung fu things they do "Bending" giving them power over that element) is Hung gar, Fire looks like Eagle Claw, Water is most certainly Tai-Chi, and Air guessing to be Shaolin (yes I know Hung Gar is "Shaolin" as well... I didnt write the story lol)... alot of study in the actual movements/applications were done and are represented, as well as the Mo-Duk/Conduct/Moral Rectitutde. I thought if a kid is going to watch cartoons, it doesnt have to be the crap on Sat morning... so we bought the set. Its been a great way to introduce kung-fu to my kids at a really young age that captures their imagination... Horse Stance and other aspects of Hung training arent exactly fun or exciting, but put kung-fu in terms they can relate to and they shame me with their endurance and appetite for more, I give out long before they do lol. They really seem to thrive on seeing what I do, with what their fantasy heros do, with what they themselves are now doing and how close it really looks to the actual styles. One of my classmates was an extra/martial consultant (very small part but he REALLY had fun) on the Live Action version by M. Shamalan, thats the only reason I know of it; from what I understand the series creators are martial arts practioners in their own rights and wanted to make something that wasnt "Power Ranger-esqe" with crap moves and total BS yet still be mystical enough for a good story. The disks are 99c a night at Blockbuster (shameless plug

)
These drawings are very nice indeed =) Thanks for sharing!
