i am currently compiling the names of the individual moves of the Hang Je Paang set - our is almost the same as this one:



did you hear any interesting names of the moves from your sifu that i can add to the list? any help is appreciated

Well, think you know that one.

Got (cutting block), hyun (circle) and kam (cover) - the rowing movement.
Biu/cheung - thrust - the thrusting after that.

I was shown an alternate intro once...

pole lays on ground in front of you, start with the bow, step back into a left cat stance with hands like monkey paws, then step back right cat stance same hands, step back into a left cat stance with hands like monkey paws, roll forward and then roll the pole back with your foot then kick it up and catch it with the arms while hands are in the Buddhas palm position, then begin.

Fan Kwoen: yes, i know that one; am looking for the 4 characters names like "monkey plays the flute" (already have some, like "old fisherman rowing the boat", "spiritual monkey clims the tree", "sweep horizontally a thousand armies" etc.)
