Got this book from a friend here in Manila chinatown,its completely in chinese..title is something like Wong Fei hung storys..it has 3 pictures of Lam Sai Wing..2 of them I have never seen before...
I havent got a scanner so I used my cheap digi cam...here are the pics
Anyone know this book ?

the book was written by Jyu Yujai 朱愚齋, student of Lam Saiwing, it is called Biography of Wong Feihung (Wong Feihung bit chyun 黃飛鴻別傳)

i know it exists, but i never saw it before. thnx for the pics, i am sure the text will be also interesting

interesting anyway..how I wish I could read chinese.

yes, the is right, but still a lot of interesting info. the historical/fictional books by Jyu Yujai are one the most trustworthy, as he is a second generation from Wong Feihung jousi.

as for Chinese, yeah. i am currently studying hard, hopefully i can translate parts of some of the interesting texts.

but since most of the people here are HUNG, can anyone tell me with certainty that wong fei hung didn't pick up some hung sing choy lee fut from fut san?

I am under the impression, that Wong Fei Hung DID pick up a few things from Jeong Hung Sing (Jeong Yim).

Wow I received 9 e-mails requesting a copy of this book.

Like I said the book is in pretty delicate shape so I don't want to risk splitting the binding on a scanner, etc.

When I get the chance I'll try to use a digital camera and then post some of the pictures.

What I read is the Huang feihung unofficial biography as opposed to zhuan the official biography. It will be nice to have more pages scanned so we can read and attempt to translate it into English.
