Hey all!

I've been lurking here a couple of days taking it all in. Lots of familiar names and people here, and lots of open discussions. I hope I am able to contribute to some discussions!

Yeah, I was in the Philippines for almost the entire month of August, but I didnt get to do much except argue with the US Embassy and ICAB. I lost the arguements, and plan on making another, hopefully more enjoyable trip by the end of next year.

Sifu at Large: The school I go to is in Garland, and I'm in Dallas. Is your school in fort worth? I didn't know of any other Hung Gar schools in the DFW area.

Yeah, I teach outta my garage, so the classes are on hiatus as the cold is too much for some people...never stopped me when I started training.

For some odd reason, when I read Garland, my brain thought Grapevine...don't know why.

I have seen the work of some of the students from the school in Garland. Is the instructor named Diaz? I cannot remember, but I do remember that the kung fu of the students from that school was top notch, very high quality stuff!

Thanks Sifu at Large. No our sifu is Mr. Phil Ng. Mrs. Diaz, (I think that's who your talking about) is one of the leaders of the CCC (chinese cultural center), but her main role is to organize events, and and make sure we're not missing anything or anyone (we have younglings at the school). We do lots of chinese new years preformances every year. I can get you the time and place, you should come see one of them. We run the lion, and the dragon, and then do Kung Fu forms usually, and then the lions go from store to store for good luck. I'm probably going to be running the middle position of the dragon, and the lion tail.
