Haha that's cool. And apparently the second book as well!
Wished the "look inside" feature had a few more pages including on a few of the moves in the form. Its a bit of a blind buy now, so I guess I will hold off from buying untill I have a chance to flip through it first... (Internet instead of the old bookshop is cool and so, but not being able to flick through a book before you buy it makes it a bit of a hit and miss affair...)

i used the "look inside" tool, und read the pages.
on the "jing Ma Page" it is written:
"...Push the front knee out beyond your toes...with the knee past to the toes an attack to the front knee can be absorbed without much damage other than bruising..."
comment on that?
That is not the way i learned. i did learn not to push the knee over the toes because it damages your knee. And although i did not had to "survive" a full force attack against my knee, the "not so low force" attacks i had until now, were not a problem. If your weight (or 70% of it) is on your front knee, it can withstand a lot of force...
