Hi Eric,
It's been years; how are you?
I've had the chance to view a number of your posts here for some time, and I take exception to most of their content and implication. With regards to the instant thread on my sifu's article, if you look at the title of it, you will see that it was about history, not application. Please stay tuned for part two of the series for discussion of fighting applications. As far as the picture from Great Grandmaster Tang Fong's "book", Frank is right; we've had it for quite awhile now. As a point of information it is NOT a book. During that time Tang Fong was quite famous, and the local newspaper implored him to submit a series of articles on the pole form. The so-called book is actually a compilation of the newspaper articles.
Do you have an issue with us (the Yee's)? It seems from your posts (including this thread) that you reach pretty hard to try to find discrepancies with us, and your information (moreso implication than actual information) is always off. Aren't you friends with my sihing Pedro Cepero? Why don't you ever talk to him and get factual information from the source instead of public speculating on a forum? I was just wondering.
Anyway, I do appreciate your kindness in describing my sifu's article as "decent."
