Taam ga is a very famous southern system, especially their saam jin kyun and long pole, Jau ga baat gwa gwan. it is widely practiced in Gwongdung and Hong Kong. one of the famous masters of last century was Taam Hon, "King of Long Pole", so no kidding. as for the Tit Kiu Saam story, well, i doubt it, never heard of it, but it just a story. Taam Ga and Hung Ga share the same roots, more than just Southern Siulam.
a lot of fun in Kung Fu Hustle, but taan teui = tan tui (= springing leg), a Northern system of Chinese Moslem minority.
