An interesting piece I came across. It claims two things:
1) traditional stretches are mainly ineffective and potentially dangerous, and it comes from an incorrect assumption that muscles need to be stretched.
2) the most important thing to stretch (or massage) is the myofascial tissue throughout your body.
There is a lot here that I agree with, but a lot too I am unsure of. I think traditional stretching is less about muscles and more about tendons, but anyway read it an tell me what y'all thing.
