Well said TT concerning the Fu Hok set as performed by the FJP. I tend to see more things in common then those that are not and there are some signature moves from other FJP forms I have seen in years past. I thank all those who are willing to share within the positive spirit of this forum.

As for the Crane Picking the Shrimp our version strikes in a poking manner towards the bladder/groin areas. It works quite well.

As stated in the begining of this thread Wong Bill Hung studied HK with Wong Kei Ying as well as Wong Fei Hung Later on and from this footage it can be seen that our Tiger Crane is more similiar to the Wong Fei Hung version than that of the Lam Sai Wing version.

- Lam Saiwing was with Wong Feihung more than 20 years.

- Wong Manchoi (Wong Moon Toy) has studied both under Wong Biuhung (Wong Feihung's/Wong Keying's Hung Kyun and black tiger claw system) AND Lam Saiwing. he is a very well known and respected person within our family (his bio is btw. icluded in recently published translation of Lam Saiwing's Memorial Book)

i have seen many, many different Hung Kyun lineages both in Hong Kong and mainland China. based on my extensive research i think that fu jaau paai's fhsyk is definitely influenced by original hak fu paai. it has more claw lin gung in the sets, different flavour etc.

so or so, i find kind of useless to argue whose fhsyk is original, modified, better, worse. masters of old did not care about the purity of their art, but functionality. one of my friends is a master of fu jaau paai and his stuff works, his fingers are like steel hooks. being friends who love TCMA we obviously spent more time on discussing and comparing various aspects of our arts then arguing whose fhsyk is better or more original.

soooo, last but not least: so many not very nice and useless words in this thread guys (Jmoon07, Rising Crane, laukarfei... ) - common gentlemen!

PM, I have 15 years Experience studying Shaolin Black Tiger System under Master Hui Cambrelen and am not arguing over who is right or wrong. First off, I posted the video to share and only clarified things after someone commented that things were added to our form and were missing essential hung elements. That is all.

Wong Moon Toy exchanged techniques with Lee Tit Fu one of Lam Sai wings top students at the time in case you did not know. Wong Bill Hung studied Wong Kei Yings and Wong Fei Hungs HK.

All that I stated in my last post was that it seems to me that our version is closer to Wong Fei Hung's Lineage.

There is nothing unkind about me stating my feelings of my chosen art form.

I am with PM, lets not discuss who's flavor resembles who's style. We share info to enlighten everyone and bring all of us Hung Kuen family together.
I really liked your demo, do you have anymore ? I learned some Black Tiger years ago and really enjoy it. It is my opiniun that it has given me a better understanding and appreciation for the "Tiger" in kung fu.
