I have been in the process of creating a 1/2 hour to 40-minute warm up routine to use when i teach class. the goal is to get everyone's heart moving and break up the tedium of stances. The current work i have in it is all our hung gar stances(horse, bow and arrow, cat, dragon/twisthorse, gwai ma), as well as a couple shifting stances from Wing Chun. In addition i have put in i Gong from the Yit Gung Ging, tai chi, and other things i've seen. Also have some dynamic tension drills.
So what are your favorite warm up exercises? What drills do you do that I can add to my routine and claim as my own?
