Tiger-Claw Style – A Brief Biography of Wong Moon Toy

One of the sister styles of Hung Ga Kung Fu is the Tiger-Claw System. Nowadays, this system is popular in USA, especially New York Area. In the
Tiger-Claw System they also practise some Hung Ga forms. They even use the lineage of Wong Fei Hung (partly). Furthermore, their lineage also is connected to Lam Sai Wing. Some on Tiger-Claw grand master Wong Moon Toy was recorded in a memorial book on Lam Sai Wing.

A brief biography of Wong Moon Toy

Wong Moon Toy’s ancestral home is Leungdung, Saamse, Toisaan, Gwongdung province. He is forty-three years old now. Already from an early age he liked sports very much and learned Northern Chinese martial arts from Lau Juk Fung, a student of Fok Yuen Gap.

A student of my sifu [Lam Sai Wing], called Lee Kin Ling, told Wong Moon Toy about my sifu and his skills. As a result, Wong Moon Toy wanted to learn from my sifu. Wong Moon Toy has also learned the “Tiger Claw Style”, from Wong Biu Hung to be exact. Wong Biu Hung was a student of my sijou, Wong Fei Hung, and was skilled in the tiger claw techniques.
Wong Moon Toy has a school in New York, USA, for over ten years now and has many students. He also offers ditda treatments there. Wong Moon Toy is also in the restaurant and publishing business.

Wong Lung Fei and Fong Wing Cheung are very outstanding young men. They are students of Wong Moon Toy. The spread of our kung fu abroad is the merit of Wong Moon Toy. We appreciate his contribution to the spread very much.

Wong Lung Fei lives in New York in the USA. His ancestral home, however, was Naamhaang, Toisaan, Gwongdung province. Wong Lung Fei is a charismatic young man who likes sports very much. Wong Moon Toy has established a kung fu school in New York. His kung fu techniques are very famous in the martial arts scene there. Thus, Wong Lung Fei was attracted by his techniques and wanted to be his student.

Wong Lung Fei is a fast learner and his kung fu has improved a lot already. Since he is still young and has a famous sifu, he has a bright future in the kung fu world ahead of him for sure.

A brief biography of Fong Wing Cheung

Fong Wing Cheung currently lives in New York in the USA. His ancestral home, however, was Hoiping in Gwongdung province. Wong Moon Toy and him came to Hong Kong and learned kung fu from my sifu. Fong Wing Cheung is a hard-training student and his kung fu is quite good. He is one of the best students at the school. He has a bright future in the kung fu world ahead of him for sure.

A brief biography of Lee Sham

Lee Sham lives in New York in the USA. His ancestral home, however, was Toisaan in Gwongdung province. Lee Sham is a student of Wong Moon Toy. Since his weapon and fist techniques are good, he will contribute to the spread of our kung fu style abroad for sure. Moreover, he has a bright future in the kung fu world ahead of him.

Die Vorfahren von Wong Moon Toy kamen aus Leungdung, Saamse, Toisaan, in der Provinz Gwongdung. Wong Moon Toy ist jetzt dreiundvierzig Jahre alt. Bereits seit jungen Jahren mochte er Sport sehr und lernte nordchinesisches Kungfu von Lau Juk Fung, einem Schüler von Fok Yuen Gap.
