Everyone knows that Jow Ga has a double headed spear form. There are two stories behind this form being adopted into the Jow Ga system. The most common i've heard is that Jow Lung learned this form while he was in the northern temple and the 2nd story is that Jow Lung actually learned from the famous master Ku Yu Cheung. Does anyone know anything about this weapon's adoption into the Jow Ga system???

Hey Tailik,

In the Northern Eagle Claw system we have a Double Headed Spear Set called, Huoon Tzi Cheung" (Circle Spinning Spear.

Dai Ying Jow,

it was a pleasure seeing and meeting you. your students are lucky to have a sifu with so much knowledge in the Eagle Claw system, but you are also Jow Ga first, so that makes you my Si Hing. if you come back anytime later this summer a dozen crabs with beer on me. i still have some old photos and video i want to show you, one in particular will make your mouth drop as mine did when i first saw it too

Now I am going to make another trip to Maryland. Brother you know the correct words to get me to visit again by offering a dozen of crabs, beer, old photographs and a video.

You're right I am Jow-Ga first. It's still very hard to believe that it's been that long ago when I was studying Jow-Ga in Washington, DC (Chinatown).

Hmm...I guess I must be getting old.

in my opinion the jow ga double head spear form is nothern style influed.

Sifu Ali (Tiger 5) i once had a double headed spear made out bamboo for me by one of Jow Biu's disciples and when i arrived at the airport in HK to go home, the Police took it from me

it was perfect length and weight for me too.
