3rd LGHK Intensive Spring Traning Camp (short report)
yesterday we just came from our 3rd LGHK Intensive Spring Training Camp
the programm was as follows:
morning (cca. 2,5-3 hours)
strengthening and conditioning (lin gung):
- body weight conditioning and strengthening
- iron pole "three stars conditioning exercise" (da saam sing)
- holding weights (finger strengthening exercises)
- bag throwing an catching (finger strengthening exercises)
- kettlebells swings and cleans
- long pole strengthening exercises
- pulling the rattan ring
basic shadows drills (saan sink): footwork, fist strikes, palm strikes, elbows, kicks
intensive stretching (yau gung)
afternoon (cca. 2,5-3 hours)
- gung ji sparring set
- double ended staff drills and combinations
- double ended 2-man drills and combinations
- double ended 2-man set
as last year, we have organised our spring camp together with our good friends from other schools (Mai Gei Wong Wing Cheun, Chen Taijiquan, Fatsaan Hung Sing Choi Lei Fat), so there was also a plenty of time for discussions, sharing and cross-training as well - mou lam yat ga indeed.

well, our 8th LGHK Summer Training Camp is coming, all i can say that i am looking forward a lot!
