There is a question that has been in my head for some time. Maybe some peeps here can answer.
The Gung Gee sparring set I have seen in the Lam family as well as the Fu Hok two person set. Who created the sets? I heard Lam Jo Sigung created the Fu Hok but Si Tai Gung Lam Sai Wing created the Gung Gee version. I'm not sure if I'm right with either one. My school only does the Fu Hok version but it's possible we had the Gung Gee at some point. My Sifu dropped some sets awhile back including a Lau Gar two person set.

If anyone has any additional info(doesn't matter which line) and is willing to share that would be great.

gung ji fuk fu deui chaak - choreographed by Lam Saiwing. it actually contains drills from gjffk, fhsyk, jin jeung and syk

fu hok deui chaak - choreographed by Grandmaster Lam Jou; it is actually re-choreographed gjffk deui chaak. cca. half of the set is exactly the same as gjffk deui chaak. it adds more flow and combinations. fu hok deui chaak should be understood as "sparring set of tiger and crane system", as Grandmaster's school was often called fu hok paai

these are the only bare-handed sparring sets taught at Lam gwun today (we have also 6 weapon sparring sets). if practiced correctly, great tool, and together with application drills one of the bridges to sparring drills and free fighting. if practiced wrongly, highway to hell, ie. Chinese opera fighting, good for show but useless to develope certain fighting skills
