Hi all...

last weekend on october18 I had my first gradings at my gwoon in Manila Chinatown. I had 12 gradings for Mui Fah Kuen,3 gradings for the 18 strikes long pole set and 3 gradings for GGFFK. 2 of my students had their level grading and made it to the second level...
Those 2 had to play ggffk with iron rings (5 per arm),they had to demonstrate 10 applications from mui fah and ggffk..those 10 apps they had to pick themselfs after that I still asked about more apps by showing a move from the forms and I wanted to hear their explainations..
At the end they all passed...I also had some special guests such as Sifu Alex Co (Beng Kiam Ng Jou Kuen),Sifu Hao Wen Rong (kong Han Ng Jou Kuen) Sifu George Ramos and Sifu Edwin Dy (Hung Fut Philippines) ,Sifu William Soon (Ling Nam Philippines) and Master and Movie star Monsour Del Rosario (Tae Kwon Do Association Philippines)...after the gradings some of the sifus also demonstrated their skills..(a video will follow soon)
This was my first gradings and a succesfull event...heres an article from the local chinese newspaper United daily news...

a good teacher such as yourself. I'm sure you are proud of them!!

Of course Im very proud of my students

As a teacher Im just a beginner and everyday I learn through my students something new..
