Teaching 4 nights/week...
I do everything my students do nightly. A typical 2hr KF class = Footwork, Inner skills, drills ect. Then my choice of forms or banging around with eachother.
Personal training... (whenever i'm not workin' on my house..dangit)
I did allot of hardcore training when I was younger, I mostly do only upkeep of what I have in strength and energy. I don't rely on those too much anymore. Using heavy weapons and moving my own body wieght around allot is good for me.
Bulk of my time is to better my Tactile Touch and body langauge VS another human being. I try to get inside their heads, thier intent and the body language. Touch hands, listen and follow your opponants. Do this whenever possible. Especially when you're not really warmed up. Then you know how good you really are.
People get annoyed with me. They think, "he's Big, he's going to use lots of strength and power". That is expected but not high level. Mostly I just follow what ever they do and nearly always win. Yes, Hung Gar can be done this way. It's not Tai Gar...it just makes good sense to me and it's what i'm good at.
Diet...
I don't have to train for this...I already have everything mastered.
I just eat potato chips, drink coffee and try to find new ways to eat PHO noodles.
It's workin' out pretty good so far.
