Hello brothers,
recently I been researching on my Sigungs father Lau Jaam and I translated with the help of a friend in HK (he alone is worth a thread here)
some chinese writings on Lau Jaam (which I got from PM)..
all those will be published on my new homepage (coming up soon)
anyway I wondered what you guys know or heard about him ?
Maybe your sifu/sigung told you something about him..even some small anecdotes could be interesting for me,if u happen to have some scanns, pics, articles etc. would be nice if u shared them...
thanks in advance

It would be interesting to hear more about your Si Tai Gung. I can't offer much but I think I read he had some CLF in his family background maybe.
Good luck in your quest Franky. Keep us posted.
Peace.

in the meanwhile I got in touch with a grand student of LEUNG HON KWONG 梁漢光. Since the passing of grandmaster Leung ,in 2005 ,his son Leung Wai Bill is running the kwoon..on my next HK trip I will visit them.

My sifu often told me that Lau Jaam was very strong and had respect for him. He and some of Chan Hon Chung's other students demoed with Lau Jaam a while back (probably early 60s) and they were amazed at how long Lau Jaam could hold up the lion's head ... He was dancing continuously for a few hours.

I can only imagine how you feel Franky

Congrats!
I hope you plan to release it as a PDF or similar for the rest of us to enjoy as well. (I assume the rights expired long ago?)
