Sharif touched on one of my favorite topics, which its the head/groin movement. Go for the face and make the opponent back it out, and the groin goes towards you. Go for the groin, and the face moves towards you.
A couple women have asked me in the past if there are any "Kung fu secrets" they could use to defend themselves. first i laugh and tell them the secret to kung fu is hard work. then i tell them about the groin head thing. It is incredibly handy.
