Hey All,
Can anyone reccomend any exercises, either to do at home or in the gym to compliment their hung gar training?

Extend your arms all the way, then keep your wrists bent at a 90 degree angle so your palms are facing out forward. Then while holding this, rapidly open your your hands as much as possible, then close them as tight as possible. This should strengthen your forearms alot. After this I usually do spirit bridge (I think that's the english name? in sabien mah, with your hands doing "pointing towards mainland china" and you push out forward 3 times, then to the side 3 times, then you push down like fan choi and start over).

As you pick up stuff at your school, you can add it into your at home routine. "Dynamic tension" excersizes are especially good, like the one Monk described.

Tholf - I think this is an excellent topic...
Would you mind giving a quick summary of each and some examples for those of us who don't know the ins and outs of modern exercise science?
cheers,
mok
