Greetings to All,

I recently starting learning Hung Gar here in Montreal Quebec, studying at Sil Lum Hung Gar. I am loving the training and everyting about the art so far, however I know very little about my school and its lineage. It is run my two brothers, Sifu's Hong, and I can't really find information on the net and feel a little akward asking my Sifu's about this. Anyone ever heard of the school? I know it has been around for close to 20 years...

Anyways, the discussion looks great and I can't wait to learn more and share my Hung Gar experience, as I gain more. Glad to be here

I too study with Masters Bun and Kin, as do a couple others on the forum.

Awesome! I was thinking I might run into a few others on here. Do you happen to know anything about our schools lineage then?

I don't doubt that our Masters' are worthy of that title or anything, just want to be proud of my school's heritage

In addition to what ever MOK tells you...

You have the added bonus of being able to eat at some quality restaurants after you train. Most of all PHO!!!!!

I believe I walked by that school when I was in Montreal a year or so back, it is really close to where Yang teaches Bagua/Xingyi isnt it?
