What is the correct length of a kwan dao? If I stand with my arm/hand out-stretched and pointing up, should the kwan dao reach my finger tips or wrist? Thanks.

I've read and been told that the
old method length for the Halberds used on horseback, generally the blood guard of the Kwan Dao/Dai Dao was of Eyebrow Height.
For ones used as a standing weapon then the Guard is only to the height of ones Chin.
but realistically I think size is not standard but customized to what the exponent likes as also prevelent in weight.

Thanks, ngokfei.
In the March/April 2011 issue of Kung Fu Tai Chi magazine, page 30, Sifu Pedro Cepero Yee says: "...When standing next to the weapon, the guard should be even with the shoulder...".
Does anybody else have any other rule of thumb?
