Here's wishing a happy new year to one and all!
As the Year of the Dragon begins, good to see another Hung Kuen website out there, with some interesting thoughts being expressed on their forum.
Definitely worth a look:

No thank you. Read your top page and blog. You didnt say any nice things on your blog and therefore I will avoid your site. You come off very confrontational already (like all your guys posts here) and against the principles of true martial arts.
Good luck with your future endevours.
UPDATE...
Wow, your boards sure did fizzle as we all thought they would. Nobody cares what POPSJNR and the rest of you said. It was just a forum for you you to cry on, and nobody cared. well, it did succeed in one thing, make you guys look real bad. No wonder your teacher 'forgot' to renew the annual fees.

Great to see a Hung Kuen site that talk about orthordox way of training,in Hung kuen. They are lots of good Hung gar web site which I find it give the romantic side of what we all know, but not the feeling, the hard work, the years in getting a technique perfect. As remember learning Hung Kuen under my Sifu J.Uglow, it took me two years to understand, complete the salute(and I'm saying not just doing the movement) but the feeling of when it is Jaap sau by my Sifu... BUT NOT FINISH !
This is a big thing in Chinese kung fu .
I also been to a few Hung gar school, that I'm sad to say, the Sifu are more interesting in making money, out of the student
loads of forms, getting them shiny new uniform, graded them with colour sashes, and not the true art hung gar.
I shall be looking forward in sharing my experience, with Hung Kuen Jing Chung

Honestly Blackdragon,
I don't know what really went down, "WORDS Wise" between "Which guys" = who said "What to Whomever". So I don't bare any animosity towards you or the original poster.
But as a casual reader, you make a comment about about "SIFUS" interested in making money...whereby the implication is that the said sifu is keeping the student in the money machine for a long time to milk them out of cash. I totally understand and agree with you on this, I think this does happen.
But in an earlier paragraph you talk about how it took you 2 years just learn the salute. Now when just reading your post it SOUNDS as if you've also been strung along. Don't jump to anger by this observation... after all, I don't know you and it's your own written words on a public forum. If you want to avoid this, you should be critical of yourself walk away from your computer and then come back to it with a fresh mind before you post. Afterwards, you might just realize that you want to edit your thoughts.
BTW, I personally don't think it should take 2 years just to learn the salute or any details in fine point about it in Any Capacity.

I think it would have been cheaper and quicker just to have purchased his DVD's.

Mmmmm !... This is what I mean about learning a load of forms, and getting a shiny uniform.
Please let me explain... Two years in getting the salute Jaap sau, when I first started... EVERY DAY... EVERY FORM... EVERY TECHNIQUE.
from 1981, to the present day... UNBROKEN STUDY !!!
Still training !
I guest you are a martial person yourself, so you understand what I mean by Jaap sau...

I'm affraid one can't learn true Hung gar from a DVD... May be your romantic Hung gar person, and this my point.
