Obviously the majority of us here are Hung Kuen exponents. However, if you could go all the way back to when you truly decided to commit yourself to a martial discipline... what other system would you have picked other than Hung Kuen? Not limited to Chinese arts. Could very well be Korean, Greek, Japanese, Modern MMA, Savate etc.
This is just a curiosity question because I find myself absolutely devoted to furthering my Hung Kuen... but always knowing that sometimes I find my fight mentality isn't always perfectly in line with Hunk Kuen fight mentality.

I would read first and start with Thomas Green, Martial Arts of the World then I will cross train with the most effective martial arts and travel to those countries to learn more and learn the applications.

If I had know the direction my life would've taken, I would've joined the wrestling team, even for just one season. The technique, the conditioning, the comraderie.
I would've done weight training at a younger age, to develop muscle and bone mass.
I would've enlisted in the Armed Forces.
I would've started with Judo at 6, and Boxing,at 8 yrs old,
then Kyokushin in my teens,
then Hung Kuen, SPM and Shuai Jiao.
and I would've gotten laid sooner....

good that we have stolen most of their weapons already

plus, not a problem to learn this or that from Hap Ga or CLF in the future
