In the forward FHSY by Lam sai-wing, he mentions about four dao.
Does somebody knows if this is only in HK or other southern martial arts or also in traditional medicine. If you now the chinese character it will be helpful.

sei dou 四到 or "four arrivals" "four reaches" (intent, eyes, feet, hands) are general concept of Souhern Siulam martial arts; sometimes you find only "three arrivals".

in Chinese, "intent" is literally "heart" (sam) . the whole concept of sei dou is something like - you decide what to do (intent), you see the opening (eyes), you step in (feet) and hit the guy (hand). one of the key concepts in our application drills practice, sparring sets, saan da and of course fighting.
