Posted: Tue Sep 07, 2010 4:28 pmI have a copy already and I just want to say, this is a must get. Of course as Frank is a close friend of mine you wouldnt expected me to say anything else, but really, this movie is awesome.
It contains many masters of the old age showing Hung Gar. The subtitles explain what is going on in that regard as well. When a master is showing something, it will say the masters name, and what he is showing.
Hung Gar shown include Sup Duk Sao (Yuen Wing Kwai), Fu Hok (Chan Hon Chung) and the whole 5B8D form.
Thougout the movie subtitles inform you of other interests that needs explaining to a western viewer as well.
So there you go, IMO at just 15 Euros (EU price, which even includes posting) a steal

Posted: Tue Dec 21, 2010 8:00 pmI just received my copy yesterday and couldn't wait to watch it. WOW! It's as much a historical document as it is a movie. Not only the forms, but a good old-school lion dance performance of "lion consumes crab" as well.
I've been itchy to find these old Kwan Tak Hing WFH films and now I'm even more motivated to find more of them.
