Sometimes it would be helpful if people state why they put a video up on such sites.

No evil intentions, I found it interesting so I thought I would see what everyone thought to simulate discussion.
I thought his form was not bad. Though clear the rings wiped in out by the end. For those who use rings, do you do any core strengthening first?
I have never used rings before during my forms and thought I might pick some up to try it out. But want to be safe and not blow out my shoulder.

I didn't think he did all that bad. I thought the number of rings were a bit excessive for his ability, you can see the struggle with them even in the beginning of the form.

I agree, considering the weight on his arms, I would say he did quite well. It looks like he has five rings on. If each one is 2 pounds each that WOULD get heavy fast!
My concern would be my shoulder and low back. That kind of weight if you were weak in the core would kill both areas.

I had no bad intentions either, but I genuinely wonders why he puts this up. If he was looking for comments, ok been there done that. He has some interesting differences in the form btw

My Sifu has stated in the past that too many rings too soon makes your arms dumb.

I think i know what you mean by having your arms dumb with too much weight too fast. The movement does not become crisp and clean because you're used to compensating for the added weight.

Correct. It kills your accuracy. One of my hing-di suffers because of his use of too many rings. When we perform two-man sets, his punches are off target because he over compensate for the weight that is no longer there.
