not bad, but not very good either. long pole (which he should choose instead of shorter double-ended stuff) is very economical - notice how he winds up for many of the blocks/strikes (but gwan, chau gwan, got gwan, taan gwan... ). application will show you in a split of a scond why not to do it in this way.
i have recently spent a lot of time on the pole fighting drills, as i have now one student, originally from a fencing backround, who specialises in a pole fighting. all he does right now are the drills from the six and half point long pole.

Anyone else seen this set? What is the Chinese name for it? Look familar but can't seem to place.
