Hung Kyun uses "Long Force" as well as "Short Force"...
Long Force is good, train your range and outside control. If you work with that for a while, you'll find your set-ups for your short force applications run into a lot fewer problems on the way in, you'll also be able to show against more challenging situations much sooner...
Keep your SPM body/ Bridging/ Short Force energy dynamics though...
I don't think it would be possible to learn anything from skilled SPM instruction in 1 1/2 years that would be anything but an asset to your ongoing committment to Hung Kyun (or whatever other TCM you'd care to commit to), especially when you train the TSK...
Hung Kyun looks at Long Force as a short-term investment, and Short Force as a long-term investment, ok la?
