Greetings!
I recently found this forum, and I am looking forward to learning more about my favorite topic. Hung Ga.
I don’t have a very interesting history to speak of. I dabbled in various forms of martial arts as a kid, which functioned as a loose foundation for future learning. Mostly, MA kept me occupied and out of trouble. I did not really get serious about it until I started learning Hung Ga. The style just seemed to fit me mentally and physically. I had the great fortune of training for a number of years at the Seattle Kung Fu Club under a man that I truly admire, Sifu John S.S. Leong.
My work and family obligations make it difficult for me to formally train at a school. I haven’t found that class at 5 am …..So, I train alone. I hope that I can contribute in some small way to the forum; I know that I will learn from it.
